Paxlovid being prescribed is relatively new and it only works if taken within the first 5 days. So get to your doc ASAP.

It felt like I had been chewing hot spices it was horrible bad cough but was over it in 3 weeks still cleaning out lungs

I had covid in August. Hubby got it from his buddy and of course he shared it with me. I slept a lot, didn't have an appetite and had a bit of a cough. Other than that, I was ok. I did not experience difficulty breathing other than what I normally have.

I tested positive for Covid on Jan 15 and was prescribed paxlovid for five days beginning the 16th. I tested negative for COVID on the 24th. The only symptom I had was terrible fatigue. I slept for 12 hours three days in a row, with naps in between. No respiratory issues with COVID at all.
