Indeed, heart and lungs go hand-to-hand. If you smoke, lungs and heart deteriorate together. Hugs!

I quit smoking in 1993, felt great. Smokers cough went away! WHOOHOO. But 2018, a “chest cold” put me in the hospital for 4 days. On release took a pulmonary test: COPD stage 2. No cancer but I didn’t dodge the emphysema etc. Cigarettes are a bad deal.

Very common! There are 4 of them and there is blood flowing constantly. It's ok because it just means some of the blood doesn't get out, or swirls back around while the valve is closing. It is all still in your heart not like it is leaking into your body.
