Haven't heard of it but I will google it. Does anyone have more information or experience with it? What makes it so effective for some people?

The FDA has approved a generic of dailiresp called roflumilast. Has anyone used it and does it work as well? I hate to change but my insurance company wants me to use the generic as I suppose it is much cheaper.

I’m involved as a patient investigator for the RELIANCE study, which is a head to head, comparative effectiveness research study looking at which works best, daliresp or prophylactic use of azithromycin in decreasing inflammation, therefore infections, therefore exacerbations and hospitalizations. @A MyCOPDTeam Member Inflammation is a natural immune response to infection, therefore all types of antiinflammatory medications do not reduce the risk of infections, as you suggest, but heighten it.
i was given samples of daliresp and it does seem to be helping me breath better with my copd. it is really expensive so i am wondering if it is worth the money.
He sent in for 500 mg. for 90 days. Then I see that it will cost me $447.00--I said no thanks!! Is this typical to pay? Is it really a difference maker in using it??
