Does anyone else get help from there trained dog, or thinking of getting help from one
I have one there amazing they can calm you and sense when your unwell, and just be
there for comfort, or help with every day tasks that you find harder to do.

I am looking for a job at home due to my COPD and Emphseyma, just part time, any suggestions?
My Partner suggested some lovely excersions for next week end but in my mind I'm always thinking "What if my breathing is bad " or "I don't know how I will be feeling on that day "
Copd is a terrible disease. So very hard to deal with. I’m so glad of this site to speak plainly and say what scares us.

Help me I walk very slow. Any walking is better than no walking and the more I walk faster I can get is not a real fast pace, but it’s better than crawling peace be with you at this time of year.
How many of you suffer from depression? Did someone point it out to you? How did you talk to your dr about it?

My sister in law has had copd now for about 4 years, for the past 8 months she has not been able to taste anything that she eats, has anyone else had this problem and what should she do. She has gargled with everything and did everything her dr told her to do, but nothing works. Thanks and take care.

It is hard to breathe the opposite of what you feel like doing(gasping) but the idea is to slow down and blow out longer than you breath in.
It’s not actually me that has copd. It’s my 76 year old father. I joined this website for him as he is not very good with technology. I’m very heartbroken to see him struggling and I’m so much pain. OK we have a dog named Bella. We have had her since she was a year old (7 yrs now). I really have never been a big animal person and my husband had dogs growing up. I didn't have a clue what to do with her when we got her. She wasn't potty trained and is a runner. I don't know if my husband knows, or was just too lazy, how to potty train her.
