has anyone undergone a double lung transplant?

I was just curious if anyone on here has undergone a double lung transplant. My dr. said that's possibly where i'm headed in the future. I'm fairly young and quite healthy with the exception of COPD, but I'm really apprehensive. Any information?

Does anyone here have IPF (Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis)? Recommended for Lung Transplant?

My COPD consists of Emphysema and IPF (Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis ). It is getting very serious, very rapidly. Was wondering if anyone else is facing this scenario? I have been recommended for a Lung Transplant and quite frankly....unsure if I really want to go through with it if I am approved.

Any Member here that has had to face this? I would really like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Has anybody considered a lung transplant, and the process getting accepted and the results

Just the process has sent me into an Aniexty overload and I have many more tests to do, is it worth it? The doctor said I should live another two years, plus he said it another type of quality of life plus at least 32 pills daily for anti rejection?
