Fibrosis And COPD

I have developed fibrosis as a result of so many infections and flair ups. I no this is diffrent then COPD, it goes along with other lung diseases. Has anybody else developed this.? Where do i go to meet people with this?

I Have Gained So Much Weight

I cannot eat if I do eat more than two meals I vomit and/or ave diarrhea. My stomach is hard as a rock it feels swelled. Has this happened to anyone else?

My stomach gets hard as a rock too.. I have told several doctors, none of them ever respond , its like they dont even feel it or listen to me...sometimes they agree with me , but thats it

I've read up and in my state my insurance will pay for only 1 device portable or in home and I have to sign a 5 year contract with them that's all fine and dandy but I want portable I don't need one in home just while out and about at times..... What's best the one that you have to buy the oxygen tanks for or the one that purifies the air and delivers to u ???

Does Anyone Else Have Tightness In Shoulders And Back Of Neck? What About Chapped Lips?

I have been feeling a lot of tightness in my shoulders and the back of my neck lately. I am assuming because I breathe so hard???? Just wondering if anyone else felt this. Also my lips have been chapping really bad for the past month. Any ideas?

I have just finished steroids and antibiotics for an exaserbation but its still there. Can I start a second course of steroids even though its only 12 days since I finished the previous course ?

I would be careful with too many steroids unless your pulmonologist recommends it.

How Often Are You Put On Prednisone For Flare-ups In A Year?

Am I the only one that gets flare-ups 12 times in one year? Isn't that quite a lot of flare-ups for being in stage 1 of COPD? It is the Chronic Bronchitis that I have the most trouble with. I start off coughing and it gets worse everyday, and then my chest gets tight and it get hard to breath. The coughing get so violent and it's exhausting, and my family thinks I'm dying. and they get irritated listening to me cough all day. I usually don't cough at night though. Shower

I turn my oxygen up to four liters wear it in shower along with my chair. I have everything on the tub in reach. The towel is close so I can reach it while seated. This works pretty well for me.
