Is the Respimat Speriva newer than The Handi haler. Which does more members like.
The handihaler is a dry powder med, the respimat is a mist. Generally the mist is much easier to take and give the same inhalation effort, probably gets farther into the lungs.

My pulmonologist changed my medication from the spiriva handihaler to a spiriva mist that's more like an inhaler. So far this has allowed me to do alot more that I could. Maybe it's because it's new to my lungs and opens them much more.
I liked the soiriva handihaler better than the respimat. Respimat burns my throat.
Was wondering if there is a way that works well taking breo ellipta and incruse together?
I have been on Spiriva capsules with the HandiHaler for about 6 weeks. I find that about every fourth or fifth capsule doesn't work. I Googled it and found a lot of people complain of this. I saw the pharmacist and he said it was because I wasn't inhaling it properly. Really? How could I not get it to work with one capsule then put another capsule in straight after and it works fine?
