Has anyone ever had a blackout called syncope?
I had it on a plane. I kept passing out the whole flight. Couldn't keep my head up. Doc blew it off. That was helpful.
I have been having a problem lately with coughing all the time and this cause me to sometimes loss control of my badder, any suggestions?
Iv have got dizzy lots of times coughing but lately I have been having blackouts it scares me because I never notice them coming , is this normal

I’m Stage 3 Copd on oxygen 2.5 lt. I don’t have to be doing anything strenuous or coughing hard. I will suddenly feel very dizzy and everything is gone for a few seconds. Any advice would be helpful.
There's a web sight called Web MD.com an I've found a lot of answers on that web sight.
I use an oxygen concentrator. If there is a blackout, the only backup for oxygen that I have is two cylinders that would last for only a few hours.
Can anyone offer any solutions to this kind of situation?
Is there a tank size that could hold at least 8 hours of O2 at 3l/min?

yes you can have them bring you some small tanks the kind you can carry around I always keep some because I sometimes like to go out for awhile so I take the portable
I was having a good day so got a taxi to my local pub, whist sat outside I stood up suddenly and collapsed losing consciousness for a few seconds. I gave my head a nasty crack and ended up having a 4cmX2cm (1 and half inch by 1 inch ish) abrasion, and ambulance was called and I ended up in hospital having my wound superglued - blood everywhere.

When I get a bad fit of coughing I go unconscious for app.3/4minuates it happens on a regular basis it happened while in hospital and I was told that the coughing goes against my breath which causes me to go unconscious

Since last year I have fainted/passed out when having a coughing fit, the first time was in hospital and when I had come round the nurses had found me on the bathroom floor and this has happened quite a few times since then, I have hurt myself badly a few times when this has happened they checked me over but didn't seem to worried about it my own doctor said that I might have something to do with me retaining carbon dioxide.
