Is my diagnosis wrong?

I am really not sure if I have COPD as my spirometry tests have always been in the 'normal' range. However, I have a persistent and often incapacitating morning cough with a łot of clear mucous. As I was a heavy smoker for 15 years (up to 30 a day) I feel I could be a prime candidate or COPD, even though I gave up 30 years ago.. Two years ago, after a methacholine challenge test, my symptoms were diagnosed as being due to late onset asthma and following treatment with symbacort and… read more

Does anyone know any tricks to getting medical help?

I was diagnosed with Cervical cancer and given Medicaid for six months. Two conilizations and a hysterectomy later, I was found to have lymphoma in my stomach. I have been given 2 years of chemo and been in remission 1 year. I have not had any medical help through the whole time. I developed pneumonia in 2014. After dismissal from hospital, I was referred to a pulmonologist. I have no job. No one will hire me with the cancer and COPD. No one will accept me and… read more

pneumonia without a cough.

I have had pneumonia before, both walking pneumonia an bacterial. I coughed a lot every time. Today I went to the Dr with chest pain and sob. I feel like I am sweating but there is no sweat.
I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia.
Have anyone had pneumonia within having a cough? Seems pretty odd to me.
Any input will be appreciated.
