Still Smoking
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is there anyone here that still smokes after being diagnosed. I am looking for some support to quit. I have attempted it several times since my diagnoses and have failed terribly. The patches, gum, vape pens and even cold turkey (which I wouldn't recommend)! The Doctor won't put me on Chantix because I suffer from Severe Major Depression and the side effects wouldn't be good for me!!! Two weeks ago I had an exacerbation and the E.R doctor ordered chest x-ray.s He came back after reading them… read more

Any Experiences With Trelegy Ellipta?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone used Trelegy Ellipta? I have tried Anoro which didn't work and currently using Symbicort which isn't working well either. In fact if I use Ipratropium/Albuterol 2X a day via Nebulizer it works better than Symicort...my plan will not cover Spiriva (Medicare D)...so, any experiences with Trelegy?

Mucus
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had a build up of mucus it's been building up for a long time. I need to get rid of it! Pretty sure it's covering my lungs.
I've been taking mucinex for 2 weeks I can feel it at the top of my neck if that makes sense. I cough but nothing cones up. It's driving me crazy! I have wondered if I used a turkey baster if that would work. Just kidding. Anyway if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. 😊

I have a gas stove so have purchased an induction hot plate which is much safer. I also use an electric grill and an air fryer.
