Nebulizers don’t cut it with me. I hate doing it and then get no effect. So I don’t use it which was a constant frustration to the head of my pulmonary rehab team
Hi I have been on oxygen for over a year now 24/24 i been working hard on losing weight, rehab, and doing what is asked from me, they check often but i wonder, can one ever get to get off oxygen or is it to stay.

I have 2 /25 ft. Oxygen Tubing for my home concentrator, any idea the trick to keep it untangled?

Was diagnosed with COPD some years ago ,but diagnosis wasn't conclusive. Another consultant
said Asthma but not conclusive . Had Pleurisy which scarred left lung ,left me in a lot of pain on left side which I still suffer from . Flairs up if I get a cold or flu and mucus production flairs up as well. Constantly trying to clear it

One side affect of prednisone is shortness of breath. Has anyone ever started on prednisone while they already have SOB? Did your shortness of breath worsen.

How is it possible for x-rays to show possible çopd and when you do the lung function test the results are basically off the charts with fev1/fvc % being way over 100% mind blowing but I'm just grateful
Thanks what the x-ray picked up was hyperinflation of the lungs possibly due to COPD/emphysema hence my sceptism when the PFT showed extremely good results and considering the weekend I had SOB and… read more

Check with your doctor to see if your problem could possibly be what is called Schatzki’s Ring. I had a problem with it back in 1992.
Does taking a shower help you breathe better?

I leave the br door open a bit and have my machine just outside of the room so I get fairly dry air. On bad days I use bathing wipes to at least quell the stink😀
Also diaphramic breathing i helpful
Weather definitely effects my copd
When it is very cold it is hard to breathe. I cover my mouth and nose with a scarf or something. I live in NC so I don't have to deal with that often
