Until I can get a CPAP machine I want to try sleeping with the Oxygenator tubes. Or is this a bad idea anyway?

He spends all day and night in bed on his oxygen machine .He `also has heart failure,The future's quite grim right now.

My GP seems reluctant to prescribe it. I wonder why. Cost perhaps?
