@A MyCOPDTeam Member breathing outside with a high wind or just a light breeze can affect your breathing. If it is really cold or blustery I do what sheilawosika says, I don't go out. So much depends on the weather for copd people same as heat or humidity. Use your senses and your own judgement . Have a good day and remember, we are all in the same boat with the same problems so you aren't alone

The wind is not your friend whether it is warm or cold. It will make you short of breath
every time. IF it is really blowing hard, tie a scarf around your nose and mouth, it helps

I get very winded both in the cold air and when it is windy. I don't know why I live in New Hampshire. It is very windy and cold today and I was up all night coughing with this bug I caught.

When the weather has been like it has here I just don't go out. We have had negative temp and way below with windchill. The masks get in the way of my oxygen. Look up and amile.
