Does My Daughter's Medication Need Reassessed?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

my daughter had bronchitis as a baby and since she was little has been taken a becotide and ventolin inhaler. She cannot do much without being out of breath. I have advised her to be reassessed as I don't think she should be like this. She uses her ventolin quite often, and not just once in a while. I, myself think she should be reassessed. I would welcome your views, thanks

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I too believe she needs reassessed and a med check and changed. My aunt was on the same med from 1 year old until 32. They immediately took her off what she was on and tested and changed her. She is now 76 andd has been changed a few times. I know you can't make her but for healths sake try to get her to. God Bless.

Yes, I would have her assessed. She could be using the inhaler too often, which is not good. She may need to be changed to a different dose.
