You may need to be on steroids for the mucus. I have to take steroids from time to time for the same thing. I have had asthma for a long time and was diagnosed with COPD a few years ago. I have never smoked and no one in my family has ever smoked. The Dr. told me it was from my asthma. The key is to stay on you medication and inhalers exactly like you are suppose to. Also, you should have a pneumonia shot. I am 52 years old. I hope this information helps.
Hi Queeny, I live in the UK and I've never heard of breathing tea. I'll try our Health Store (Holland & Barratt) in my Town Centre and give it a go. If it's available in the UK, Holland & Barratt will stock it. Thanks for that tip.
I get breathing tea from the health store it really helps.
My doctor put me on carbosetine tablets they thin the mucus down and help to bring it up
I never smoked either. I have had asthma for years then was diagnosed with COPD. Mucinex is recommended for mucus. Good luck and God Bless
