When I get a bad fit of coughing I go unconscious for app.3/4minuates it happens on a regular basis it happened while in hospital and I was told that the coughing goes against my breath which causes me to go unconscious

I don't pass out if if cough, I just fall down and don't even realize. Im full of bruises as my skin is so thin. That's why my Hubby will not allow me to go walking around the block. If I cough too much I just get very hot and feel I cannot breath. I always used to feel the cold but now it's my hubby who is always complaining. Funny how this COPD works hey.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member,the only explanation I got was when I get a bad fit of coughing the lack of oxygen to the brain causes the blackout.As I said I would not know to much about it but my wife is fantastic with me she knows how to relax me and bring me around I certainly would be dead only for her Breath easy my friend xx

I don't pass out but if i cough a lot I am sick.that must be very scary 2 pass out. X

I have pass out twice I hit my head on the floor and heart my ribs.I thin.k it is oz loss
