I cough a lot at night too. I hate it when I have a coughing fit out in public. I carry cough drops in my pocket. They do help

I cough most of the time mainly in the morning and if I am out and I run out off oxygen then I cough a lot as well I am on Benzonatate to help me not cough so much and I take three mucinax a day to keep the flame from building up so much. For the night time I fall asleep sitting up most of the time as I do not cough as much in this position hope you find this helpful

I was told by my pulmonologist that I should take one or max 2 puffs on my ventilin with the spacer when I have coughing spells like that. I've followed his advice and so far it works very well. Myabe you should ask your doc what he thinks....ir try the ventolin once when it gets bad. Jusr be careful not to take too much.

I cough a lot of nights. It wakes me up and I just get out of bed and go sit in my recliner the rest of the night. I usually stop then and go back to sleep sitting up.

i use a cpap machine and a 45 degree pillow and i still have coughs
