In Australia you have free access to a Dietician who will monitor and set up a food plan plus a Physiotherapist that will sort out any issues if you have with swallowing or gerd type problems.....Just check with the Health Department in your State.....

This is all part of the Pulmonary Rehab Program that is State Sponsored.....Not sure if you have Private Insurance but then why would one even bother having insurance anyway....Just a total waste of money...

Talk with your doc or Nurse and get a referral. Also suggest you get a copy of "Don't Forget To Breathe", written by a New Zealander, but at least some of the advice should help....at least she uses pretty much the same language you do! If you google the title of the book, you should get to the website where you can download a copy for free. You can also buy it on Amazon. I bought it because I think that's the fair thing to do, but she's fine with a download.
