Many people find it hard to eat much when they have COPD because the diaphragm is pressing on the stomach making it hard to breathe. In addition, digestion takes O2, and that makes it hard to breathe as well. So it's not a real cause of the COPD, but the COPD sure contributes to it. If you feel ill or nauseated, that's generally not part of COPD; that's more likely to be digestive. Talk with your doc. It might be part of how you respond to your COPD or it could be something else completely.
I will go for a week with no appetite and then the next week I can't get enough to eat and thsi keeps cycling. So in answer to your question I would say yes and it's from copd in my opinion
I eat just to stay alive, used to be love food but since being ill now not so bothered,I've lost weight and do not like it. Rather eat sweet stuff, rediculus really.
Donna thank you. Yes it does sort of run cycles for me. I figured it may be partly due to COPD
