Certainly could have contributed. You might try a worker's Comp claim if you really believe that. There are people who develop COPD with no smoking history and no history of being exposed to any lung irritants, so it would be very difficult to prove, but with a good doc, you might make it happen..

i have and theres no doubt working in such environments for so many years is a cause not only of copd but diabetes type 2.when experts go on about lifestyle causing such debilitating illnesses they should look at work environments more
