A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Insurance will be running out for my concentrater . I have two. One in the house ( continuous) and a portable. Need recommendations.

I have two inogens and they work well for me. I use liquid oxygen when I ride because the inogens generate too much heat and in Texas that is not good for working outdoors in the summer.

I have bought 2 portable units and medicare pays for large in house unit. My medicare renews this
November and I am going to buy a home fill unit that gives you both house use and with home fill cylinders
that are for portable usage you get the best of both worlds. You can buy complete home fill (several brands)
unit almost cheaper than I paid for my portable. I will not use Medicare.

I am so sorry to those of you in the U.S. who have no coverage. This disease is not cheap to treat.

You need to write to all your congressmen/women and tell this new administration you want health coverage with NO deductibles

I have both an in-house and a portable Air Sep Concentrator that works on pulse up to level 3. I don't own it, I get it through my insurance. Before I was getting it from a secondary supplier and paying 30 dollars a month as my share. I am now with Health Partners and they are a primary payer so I pay little or nothing. I never heard of insurance running out. If you're just buying on the open market please be careful of scams as they are wide spread! You need a lifetime guarantee and read it to see what you have to do. Also how repair works (you should be able to simply exchange your for a like condition replacement and it should reach you in just a few days! Hope this helps!
