How Do You Find A Pulmonary Dr You Like

I had a wonderful pulmonary that I loved, he no longer is in private practice, I can't stand the Dr I have now I asked my family Dr to start giving me my med again she's the one that started my med for copd. She won't she said I need a pulmonary dr how do I find one close to me that I will like I know I should just suck it up and go but I just can't talk to him(might just be me)

I would tell my primary care Dr. I want a referral to a different pulmonologist. If she refuses find a new primary care Dr.
