my doctor mentioned that my system will be working so hard to breath, that I would loose weight, so maybe that is what is happening to you. I also had radiation treatment for lung cancer, and that makes me loose weight also, I need protein, so far I'm able to balance this, don't gain too much or loose to much

I wish My COPD caused me to lose weight. I am 100 lbs over weight & can't lose it for love nor money! However, if I would have to get worse in order to lose this weight, then I would rather just be fat. I have never been so heavy in all my life & want to lose that 100 lbs as the Drs have all said it would be better for me!

My doctors have told me to eat everything that is fattening to fatten myself ready for winter. But I do anyway.
