Right now I take Spriva once a day, in the am, and have a ProAir rescue inhaler. Upon activity, my oxygen level drops to 91-92 but after sitting for 2-3 minutes it goes back up to 94-95. I seem to be more sob than I was 6 months ago and I seem to be using the Proair more, however I am still able to walk the dog or walk with my grandchildren. I see my doctor next month and am just wondering if I should be on other medications. What do others take. I am not on oxygen yet and will e discussing… read more

I take spiriva and advair in the morning and advair in the afternoon. I have proventil for emergencies. I use a nebulizer with albuterol 4 times a day.!i was on oxygen for a year and now I am not. I lost 50 pounds and want to lose 25 more. I walk 4 miles 3 times a day at my mall. I can't deal with heat at all. I started iff slow of course but boy was it worth it to be off that oxygen. It is a pain in the neck and it is to mych trouble to go out. Try not to go there.

You sound as if you have good health the normal to good stats is around 92 / 95 I have spriva which I take more than once a day and I am around 90 so your exercise / walking is doing you good have a great Dorothy Hartlepool UK 🇬🇧

Hi, Lori!! I take Symbicort twice a day and albuterol for a rescue inhaler. I find that my SOB is much less when I stick to my exercise regime (walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes daily). It gives me the quality of life that is so much better than when I was first diagnosed and before PR....

Just saw the COPD consultant today I have to see him again in a few weeks again they took blood and a x-ray it doesn't sound too good does it, changed some of the medicines stopped spiriva and seretide exchanged for beclometasone inhaler also gycopyrronium capsule inhaler been told this is the latest things to come onto the market anyone heard of them at the moment I am having a hard time breathing maybe it's a good thing the consultant has seen me at my worst take care out there everyone Dorothy Hartlepool UK 🇬🇧

I am on he same inhaler. Now I sleep with O2 from a concentrator. Just keep doing your best....one day at a time!
