How To Prevent Water In The Cannula Lines?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Purchased an economical portable oxygen concentrator and it works well except if used overnight gathers water in the line. It has a small inline collector canister that is suppose to collect excess moisture and does but many nights water still makes to all the way to the nasal piece. Anyone else experiencing this? Never happens when using the oxygen tanks filled from our other concentrator.

Out the water bottle in one of those sleeves used to keep a can cold. What happens is that the warmth of the concentrator heats the water and then your cold floor causes condensation in the line. This trick keeps the water cool, so no condensation.

It's supposed to keep the nasal passages moist. Which is good. You don't want them to dry up.
