Has Anyone Any Experience Of Travelling By Plane After Developong COPD?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, I have mild/moderate COPD, it fluctuates wildly according to the weather. I do not use oxygen and my oxygen level is 90%.

Has anyone had experience of flying with COPD - how was it for you. Any tips? Thanks in advance.

I am not on oxygen but use a nebulizer when needed and Anoro daily. In 2012 my GP said it was not safe for me to fly at all but my Pulmonolgist told me it would be fine. I was very lucky to be able to get a seat in 1st class so was less likely to be affected by the recirculating air in the main cabin. I've flown… read more
