Talk with your doc and a good dietitian to find out how to avoid kidney stones. Many of us do develop more health issues as we age. Talk with your doc about what you can do to help yourself. Diet and exercise are usually the two major things that are suggested, and they work. They are hard, especially when you don't feel good and want to be comforted by lying on the couch with potato chips, but that's part of what's bringing on those additional health issues.
