Is Anyone On The Site Using The 30 Dose UMECLID BRO/VILANTER 65/22MCG Inhaler?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I live in the UK and I'm aware that most people on here are based in the US so I wondered if anyone was pres cribed/using the 30 Dose UMECLID BRO/VILANTER 65/22MCG Inhaler? And what their opinion/experience is.

Many Thanks

This med is a combination of a Long-Acting Beta Agonist (bronchodilator) with a Long acting Anticholinergic (also a bronchodilator, but it targets different receptors in the lungs and bronchial tubes). Many of us took the two separately. For instance, I use Advair, a combination of a LABA with an inhaled steroid and Spiriva. This med is like putting the LABA from Advair in combination with the Spiriva. There are a number of these combination meds in the US, and this is apparently one of the British versions.
