Just I look on the internet for info and it’s confusing for sure. I believe they are trying to baffle us.. to use the most expensive.. anyone else have concerns about this.. I know they both are helping a lot of us.. just wanna know what is what ???
I have been on a bi-pap for 5 years and I am a shallow breather so it has helped me a lot for at night my breathing was slowing right down and the bi-pap helps me to get good breaths at night and I wake up feeling so much better, mind you it took me awhile to get use to it I use to have small panic attacks when I would take off my oxygen and have to put my mask on so I had to figure out what the trigger was for the panic attack and it was the removing of my oxygen tube so now i put my mask on but before I strap it on I turn my machine on and I start getting the air forced into my mouth so I can take the oxygen off and snap on my chin straps and then reattach the oxygen tube to the side of my hose...took a while to figure it out but now I get so much relief from it that on days that I am really out of breath I just lay down and put my bi-pap on and boy what a difference
The doctor said the Bpap helps in 2 ways to breathe and the trilogy helps in 3 ways. Open air ways. and keep them open, provide oxygen.
I been on trilogy about a year. I can't really tell much difference in it but my son says he can deffinately tell a big improvement after I wear it. My Dr says it is keeping me out of the hospital & alive. It is i very big harassment but gotta do what I gotta do!
I was convinced by my oxygen supplier to try a bi-pap or trilogy saying it would help me breath better. I too about crapped when I got the first statement. My co-pay went from a few dollars a month to over $300 a month. I talked to my pulmonologist and was told that the bi-pap doesn't treat sleep apnea like a
c-pap does. Needless to say, I went back to the c-pap machine asap. I had no trouble breathing with the bi-pap so if you can afford the cost, and don't need the sleep therapy, go for it. My advice, always check with your doctor before making a change. Have a great easy breathing day,
A nebulizer atomizes the liquid medication that you put in it so that it gets into your lungs, for some people this is better than using inhalers
