I am on DuoNeb, Ventolin, Singular, Claritin, Flonase and a few other scripts for side effects of these. This combination works to keep me breathing, but I would like to see some improvement. Three years ago, by lungs were burnt in a industrial accident, and hence dealing with COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Both the duoneb ( short-acting anticholinergic) and ventolin (short-acting beta agonist) are meds for COPD. Singulair, Claritin and Flonase are generally for allergies. Is there a reason you're only taking the short-acting versions of these meds, because there are long acting versions that last from 12 to 24 hours, which many people prefer. You are not taking an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) which is often paired with a long acting beta agonist, such as Advair or Symbicort.
Daliresp is specifically designed for people whose COPD has a major chronic bronchitis element to it and who have had frequent exacerbations over the past year. If you meet that requirement, daliresp might be a good med to try.
Are you seeing a pulmonologist? If not, I'd suggest you get a referral to a good pulmonologist and have a complete diagnostic workup and med evaluation. If you are seeing a pulmonologist, I'd suggest you have a good discussion with her regarding the meds she's prescribed and why those particular ones.
I also have pulmonary fibrosis and c.o.p.d .I have a med I spray in my nose it works
I've been on spiriiva respimat for 2 months, it seems to be helping along with my ventolin for flare ups.
I take Daliresp. Seemed to really help when I first started. Not sure if it does anymore.
I also have pulmonary fibrosis. What I'm on is the spriva capsule it is working for me
