I know there's numbers on the breathing tests so I asked my pulmonary specialist what mine were. He says 29 ... 32. What does that mean?

If you have to be hospitalized predisone is there go to drug. If you use it to much of it your body gets use to it and it will not respond. Not to mention the truck load if side effects of it. That steroid is a life saver but it can screw you up if over Used

Get off the predisone. You should be using that for flair up or infection. Not everyday.im surprised that your lung doctor has you on it daily

Thank you so much. I've been taking advair, spirvia, prednisone and fast acting inhaler for about 10 years. I do go to a specialist but he's only in town one day a month and the waiting room is crowded so I let him hurry me along. This sight is helping me understand what to discus with my doctor.

A big one is mood changes, it will really play with your head. If you want all the side effects just Google it

Thank you for the advice. I found out that the prednisone has caused my osteoporosis and weight gain. What else does it cause?
