I've never heard of Symbicort triggering a gag reflex, so my first question is did someone show you exactly how to use the inhaler? Sometimes technique is a huge issue and people don't get the full effects because they're using the inhaler improperly. It's worth checking. Symbicort, like all meds, does have some side-effects, but none that occur only on weekdays and not on weekends. :) Symbicort and Advair are the most prescribed meds in their class, and millions of people use one or the other every day. They do work for most folks.

Sorry dont use it, Im on liiquid meds for my nebulizer. If you have a comoouter or tablet, you can look it up and it will give you the side effects
