I have emphysema
I only use it when I have infections and flare ups, which seems to be a lot lately.
I would have the sea and beaches I have the opportunity to travel in the next year. What would be some suggestions for places to travel with COPD I have moderate copd and am on oxygen at night.
I live in Canada and would be flying out of Calgary.
Would love to hear of any semi-tropical or sea side places I could visit.

Still hoping for the trip to OR but will drive over the Siskiyous where the peak elevation is over 7K ft. Starting in Ashland at almost 2K but staying in Grants Pass at about 1K. The last couple of trips to CO I think the altitude was starting to affect me, but I functioned okay at 5K to 7K. I am NOT giving up on this plan to go see my wonderful friends and their new pup Betty, it's just not an option
Driving about 2 hours from Ashland over the Siskiyous would probably be 2 hours at most.… read more
Hey @A MyCOPDTeam Member - off the subject somewhat but did the dog find a spot quickly?? Hope so! Been in that situation many times over the years - lol!
My body isn't liking it, I have to go on prednisone for a couple of weeks. Here's my question:
Has anyone (that's been on this medication) had success getting rid of the headache that goes along with it????
Regular headache medication doesn't seem to even take the edge off.
I get headaches all the time, Tylenol seems to help
I would like to have a copy of this article that I can pick up and read and share with others I know that have COPD. Is there a possibility I could get a copy from somewhere?
Thanks for the hug.
