I have a pocket on one of my lungs which has been causing me chest infections one after the other and my hospital doctor suggested having a wash bronchoscopy to find out what was causing these chest infections.

I've had a couple of these done over the years, do you know exactly what they did while they were in there, I know there's seraval different producues that are done this way, I had to stay over nite for mine, but all the did is wash and vacucum the crude out of my lungs, and didn't have any major side effects, but I could breathe better for a little while,some of the things they do while there in there good cause some issues, your dr didnt explain what they did, or what to expect afterwards, if it really gets to be a big concern I would go to the ER at least for peace of mind

Thank you again everyone. I have seen my G.P. and prescribed me with Mepradec 20mg Gastro Resistant Capsules and diagnosed that I was suffering with sever Indigestion and trapped wind. I am now fine and have a follow up appointment with my Hospital Doctor on the 27th June.
