Tremors
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know that the inhalers we use can cause tremors in the hands. Has anyone experienced tremors in the shoulders or head? About a year ago I started getting them when I was really stressed. Now sometimes for no reason. It is an off and on thing. I thought it may be from some of my medicines but really have no idea. I am going to see a neurologist in July. I have had third stage COPD for 5 years and on oxygen of a night.

Despite other's opinions, I am not here to put you down. We all tend to complain about one thing or another. That's what we're here for....to listen and to help if we can my friend. Anyway, I too have tremors especially when I'm stressed, my hands, legs, and head. I also have the shakes after I take a nebulizer treatment with albuterol. Albuterol makes you do that. I remember when my grandson had to do nebulizer treatments when he had a severe case of bronchitis and allergies. At the time he was 3 years old and he would shake like the dickens after a treatment. It was scary and sad to see the little guy go thru this. Thank God he is over all of that and a grown college boy! I do have a girlfriend who also developed the tremors and I've seen it! Her hands shake terribly and so does her head. She has an appointment with a neurologist next month. Her mother also had this problem, but never looked into why. If I should here anything I'll let you know. In the meantime take care of you my dear!!!!
