I fly regularly, usually twice a month and sometimes three times. I do use O2 to fly, and make arrangements for O2 to be delivered to the hotel where I'm staying. I make sure I'm in really good shape by regular exercise and a good diet. I try to avoid being too close to people with bugs, but the thing I do that I think makes the most difference is use a nasal rinse after each flight. I think it makes a huge difference. You might also check with your doc to see what other precautions you might use, including a mask and OTC meds.
get off the fags @A MyCOPDTeam Member, things can only improve by stopping...im 44yr and although i inherited copd((Alpha 1)) i wish I'd have listened when they were telling me...xxx
I don’t use oxygen.
Just fed up being wheezy and breathless.
It feels as if my bronchial tubes get inflamed.
Cough up a lot of clear phlegm.
Take ventolin and symbicourt inhalers.
Steroids don’t work as good as they use to.
Was off cigarettes for 2 years and foolishly started smoking again in December.
Struggling to stop.
