I quit 4 years ago - the craving comes and goes but I am able to work through it - just do it and you will feel much better take hour at a time - good luck.
I don't know what it means, but pulmonary told me I was in stage 4 and if I don't quit smoking and use a c pap at night that I would die in 6 months. Well they gave me a trilogy machine and it's up to me to quit cigs. Not so hard to quit. So far it's been impossible to stay quit. I stay so depressed. This disease has control of what I can do now. I have tried so many times so many times to quit smoking with no luck. I seem to be very good for the 1st 3 weeks and then boom I smoke again, Does anyone have any ideas how I can beat this horrible habit once and for all!

what convinced me to quit was finding out that tobacco companies manipulate the amount of nicotine to keep us hooked, I #ucking hate being used, So I haven't touched one since. Still like weed ;-)

Is there anyone here that still smokes after being diagnosed. I am looking for some support to quit. I have attempted it several times since my diagnoses and have failed terribly. The patches, gum, vape pens and even cold turkey (which I wouldn't recommend)! I quite by keeping a dayly log of what I smoke at first I reduced by 5 smokes à week then the next week I added 5 more that équaled 10 smokes in two weeks some and never beat myself if I missed à day… read more
