I suffer from CRPS, in. Addition I have severe osteoporosis and I am stage 4 emphysema I can bathroom and I am very weak and exhausted all the times
I am only on inhalers . If I get hit or anything on my arms it"s instant blood bruise !! Why .. What can help.. What causes this ?? (update.) .. Have went to a skin doctor she said that cotizones or any type of skin creams with this helps make thin skin . . prednisone really is bad for the skin .. .When outside long sleeves.. taking vitamin c to help built up collagen in the skin . Go back well now the end of this month Aug
The prednisone makes the little thin arteries become more thinner. when u hit your arms they burst. Leaving a blood bruise . My dermatologists said there no cure for it.
Does anyone else bruise their arms and legs easily. My left arm gets covered in bruises especially the lower top half. No idea how it happens.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member Hm! I forget far too often myself my wife would say it was selective hearing ! As time passes she now goes oh! I forgot ha ha!
Does anyone while experiencing anxiety get a flare up? The last few weeks at work have been kinda stressful and I’m wondering if that will continue to make me have flare ups.
Absolutely being anxious can affect your breathing. My Dr, gave me a lower dose of Buspirone to try---said we could go higher if needed.
If so what is the dosage and do you have any side effects from it?

I had a Flare Up in September last year had Antibiotics and Steroids which helped. It’s now January and I’m still coughing and producing gunge from my chest.
The Flare Up was my first really bad attack having had COPD for over 12 plus years, so I guess I’ve been lucky.
I go in Prednisone and Zithromax and it is usually fine within a week for me
Denny decided to try them in a very low dose, 20 mg. He's dealing with severe vision loss and a great deal of pain - my brave hero! Max he's used is one in am and one at bedtime. The brand is Hemp-Bridge. I saw ads on tv for Harrelson's Own, again a low dose, 25 mg. I ordered a bottle and the directions recommend 1 - 2/day. They have a coating on them, sort of fuzzy. I'm glad you have a pulmonologist who will work with your local PCP. That always helps!
I have emphysema
I only use it when I have infections and flare ups, which seems to be a lot lately.
