Yes, exercise as much as you can no mater what it is; if you get winded, stop and wait as long as necessary and begin again. This goes for chores as well, don't over do it.

Exercise is one of the few things that actually makes us able to do things easier. All the meds in the world don't make nearly the difference that walking non-stop for 30 minutes each day will do. Pulmonary Rehab is great and do go if you can. Doing your own is very possible and is pretty simple. You just start where you are and add a bit of time every three or four days until you can do 30 minutes non-stop. then you can add speed, distance or time. Working with weights/resistance is also important. You need to do exercises that concentrate on the upper, lower and core muscle groups.

Yes. Take it slowly and try to go a little farther each day. Also , if the weather is a problem you can walk in a mall shopping center if one is close to you and you still drive.

Exercise is very important and you will see a difference .

Ask your doctor about a pulmonary rehab too.

I walk every day and if it is too hot or windy I walk around the house.

I use a walker when I go walking , it has a seat and if I get tired I can push off to the side and sit for a few minutes. Almost never have to do that now and I can walk 2 miles .

Breathe easy and rest if needed.
