I've seen tips for doing housework, traveling etc. Does anyone have tips for doing gardening while living with moderate to severe COPD?

I do garden quite a bit. I get up early when it is generally cooler and work in the morning and evening. I sit on a caddy and it carries my supplies as well! And don’t forget to pace yourself!!!!! Happy gardening!!!!! 🥰

You might want to wear a mask because of the fungus that exists in soil and fertilizer. Many people with COPD like to garden, but it's wise to wear a mask to avoid inhaling stuff you really don't want.

I do gardening. I do a little until the heavy breathing appears. I stop and relax until I can do it again. Good to have a small chair for a break. Bending and crouching is not easy for long periods. We have a lot of time, relax and go slow. I have trouble getting dressed in the morning!

Yes as Ocean said...short bouts with rest and not when it's too hot out

Newsgal not during the heat of the day. Short periods of work and rest..Balance them and do drink water. It may help to use a mask since
there is bacteria in dirt.
