If so what is the dosage and do you have any side effects from it?
@A MyCOPDTeam Member yep and no no real side affects

I had a Flare Up in September last year had Antibiotics and Steroids which helped. It’s now January and I’m still coughing and producing gunge from my chest.

Sometimes I feel so lousy that my bed is where I want to be. I get a low-grade fever sometimes chills my cough gets worse and I have zero energy. I hear about COPD action plans but have neither my GP nor the Respirologist which I finally got into see in November/22. I also have a Thoracic surgeon that I see annually since she removed my upper left lobe. Last February the surgeon connected me with Alberta Health and helped me get oxygen therapy which I am on 24/7.
Good info to have, thank you Jean, I'm guessing that I am stage 3 yet when I asked my respirologist she said that I would be at "B" whatever that means

The American Lung Association in conjunction with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute are sponsoring a study called REACH (Recovery after Covid-19 Hospitalization). it will look at 1300 patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19 in 44 hospitals across the country. There's an additional study that's using artificial intelligence to scour 30,000 CT scans to see if any patterns can be seen that might help explain why people got so sick and why they are taking so long to recover.
Thanks for sharing. I am glad that studies like this are underway to help us understand and cope with long term covid impacts.
