I tried it once and that was the last time. I am just wondering what the purpose is. I tried my rescue inhaler a few hours after the Nebulizer treatment and it DID NOT WORK. It scared the crap out of me. Has anyone else had this issue with the Nebulizer treatment? Thanks

You don't say what medications you have been prescribed with the nebulizer but in general the particles are made smaller and can be inhaled deeper to provide nore relief. Unfortunately the strength is… read more

Can Neb Treatments Make COPD Worse ?

I read where a few members say nebulizer treatments have made their COPD worse.
Have others had a problem with treatments ? I , myself, have not .

I would like to hear from members who have had Neb treatments worsen their COPD.
Breathe easy and rest if needed .

Should A Patient Be Symptom And Medication Free, In Order To Get Their First- Ever PFT Test?

I've had to take antibiotics and prednisone for severe allergies and nasal polyps and am taking them once again now. My first ever PFT has been rescheduled for 2 weeks away because of it. Is this a common occurrence? Do doctors often have to schedule PFTs around their patient's symptoms, etc... This is all new to me. I guess I am concerned that the meds I am taking could give false overly optimistic results and if tested in the midst of a flair up, would the test results indicate worse problems… read more

Hi
I have been on 5 mg per day for > 10 years w/o any side effects. No weight gain, no phychosis, no anything. Feel fine, take many vitamins and nutrients.

I was told this morning that my mum has 20% lung function and oxygen is keeping her alive.This frightened me especially as my mum won't take oxygen out with her !!!! She insists her breathlessness us stress! I just feel helpless
