I took Breo ellipta for 1yr. Then my insurance refused to pay for it. The Breo works WAY better than symbicort. Is there any assistance programs to get it?
if you have a Walgreens they have some kind of program that really cuts the price down. At least they do here in Fayetteville AR
I will look into that. Ty
Once you've tried symbicort, your doctor should be able to go to bat for you with the insurance company. There are exemptions and exceptions that can be granted with help from your doctor. You and the doc may both have to spend some time figuring out where the hoops are and which ones you need to jump through, but you should be able to get your Breo back.
Ask your doctors office for a doctors prior authorization for your Breo.
