On my pulmonary function test (before I knew the results of the ct scan) it showed moderate obstruction and decreased diffusion capacity.. I have not seen a pulmonologist yet. I am very scared. . Has Anyone Else Been Told They Were Misdiagnosed But With No Other Explanation?

Hi, I was diagnosed with COPD (chronic bronchitis), but after over 4 years of treatment, I was told it wasn't COPD and it was chronic asthma and another underlying lung desease, but can not tel me what it is! I have had bronchitis 3 times and struggle to breath most days, with very little help or reasoning. Has anyone else had this occurs? And if so, what has been the outcome? I am thinking it is still COPD just because nothing else seems to fit. Thank you.
