Just received two oxygen generators yesterday and forgot what she said.

Down for me. I guess whatever is comfortable for you, as long as the oxygen is getting to your lungs it should be okay.

There's no "right" way to do it; do what's comfortable for you. I think most people do down, but that doesn't make it the right way. Some folks also have to trim the ends with scissors because the pointers hurt their noses. It depends on the way your nose is built!
