Shortness of breath is a part of my life now but I am still as active as I ever was, just not feeling the same anymore. Anyone else experience this?
I find my breathing to be worse wen I use my inhalers spirva
Hi Paul. Your Spiriva medication only contains one ingredient. It is in a class of medicines known as Anticholinergics. Or sometimes LAMA.
You can Google those terms.
Either way, this med works to keep the breathing tubes open by drying up moisture. Unfortunately it can dry out other parts of the body too.
You don't say what feeling "not the same" feels like, but here is a link which talks about some side effects of your medicine:

At least half of these side effects are similar to being dehydrated in some way. We need a bit more water than most to keep the congestion and mucus from plugging us up. Take care.
Many times the first medication offered is a LAMA, like Spiriva. You could talk with your pulmonologist about using a LABA, a long acting beta agonist instead. You might feel more like yourself.
Thanks Rolland, yes I am making sure drink lots of water. I will look up the LAMA. Hoping to get backnto normal.
