An action plan is something that you and your doc agree on. The American Lung Action plan can be found here:

It's excellent. Print it off and take a copy with

you to your next appointment with your pulmo. Talk about it and decide what you are to do if the things that are listed occur. Sometimes your doc may suggest that you keep an antibiotic and prednisone on hand for weekends and holidays. Not all docs will do that. You may have to demonstrate to your doc that you know what you're doing and you know when to use the meds safely.

Yes Ma'am!!! I keep an antibiotic around all the time.....I travel with one in case I get sick overseas, etc. I take Azithromycin three times a week also for years and it really helps hold down the frequency of exacerbations.

Yes I have a Rescue pack just in case I have a infection I take the Antibiotic and steroids .
