Don't know if it's common but it is one of those symptoms. I have "thin" skin which has developed over the past year. "Thin" skin is when you bump your had into something and you get a bruise that goes half way up your arm. I get dry skin on my chest and face. Use a lot of creams that work sporadically.

You should talk to your Docs.
Dry skin and unknown bruising could result from simply being dehydrated. That is a common problem for people with respiratory conditions. But they usually complain about too much mucus too. Or it could be more serious involving vitamins/diet, hormones, or circulation issues coming into play. Be well.

I have thin skin also. I get bruises on my hands and lower arms and don’t even know where they came from. They just show up.
