My question was supposed to read will anything besides the dryer help with the tangling and kinking of my 35 ft hose

Some people have used cup holders throughout the house and hang the hose on those. That will keep it off the ground and will reduce or maybe completely eliminate the kinking. You can also use the oven to heat the hose enough to straighten it out. You don't want it hot enough to melt the hose; that's the problem.

You can always put the hose (still in the package) in hot water. works great!
