A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone participated in COPD trials using Dupilumab? I have been contacted, sent a very long information pages(about 29) from testing site, answered questions on phone , accepted for interview and the next step would be to go to the facility to meet doctor. This is in Michigan. Any thoughts???
I've tried to research this medication to the best of my ability.

Thanks.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member The study is sponsored by Sanofi US Services, Southfield, Mi . The phone number is (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). It is being done at Great Lakes if anyone in Michigan is near. It was listed under Clinical Trials.gov as you stated and is randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled with moderate to severe COPD. Many questions are asked about your meds and health before going forward. I'm just trying to keep all informed in case it might help our TEAM find any resources. I will check it out and let you know.

Congrats for you. Maybe our Experts here know more about it.
The last time I heard about a Mono-clonal injection with any Hope it was Fasenra. That ended up being used for folks with Asthma too.
We learned a lot more about respiratory damage and inflammation triggers during the Pandemic, but nowhere near the finish line. Every time I apply for a study and mention Prednisone, I hear nothing but crickets on the phone. Take care.

I have not tried this alternative but normally Phlegm goes off with antibiotics. I took Ceftom for seven days and phlegm went off completely and smoothen my life.
